Wendy’s is celebrating the grand reopening of its newly remodeled South Jersey restaurant with a special giveaway. On December 14 at 10:30 a.m., the first 100 customers at the Somers Point location will receive a card offering one free sandwich, salad, or breakfast item every week for an entire year.
The promotion, which is limited to the Somers Point store at 22 Bethel Road, is not valid with other discounts or coupons.
Additionally, participants must be at least 16 years old to qualify.
The 3,191-square-foot restaurant, which reopened on November 20, has undergone extensive upgrades. The revamped space features a modern, contemporary design with bright, open dining areas and multiple seating options. Customers can also enjoy a new Coca-Cola Freestyle beverage dispenser, allowing them to customize their drink choices.
Jerrod Mitchell, Vice President of Marketing at Flynn Group LP, which owns the location, expressed excitement about the updated dining experience. “We are thrilled to offer the Somers Point community an enhanced Wendy’s experience,” Mitchell said. “Each of our renovations represents an investment in the local community, and we look forward to serving both new and returning customers with high-quality food and outstanding service.”
New Job Opportunities Created
The renovation of the Somers Point restaurant is also expected to bring 45 new jobs to the local area. Flynn Group encourages individuals to explore employment opportunities at the location.
This Wendy’s site, part of the Flynn Group’s larger portfolio, was not included in the 55 Wendy’s locations Flynn acquired in August. However, it has been part of the company’s holdings for some time. Flynn Group currently operates 61 Wendy’s locations in New Jersey, with other restaurants in Bridgeton, Pilesgrove, and Vineland.
Flynn Group’s Expanding Reach
Flynn Group, founded in 1999, owns and operates a variety of well-known brands, including Applebee’s, Arby’s, Taco Bell, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, and Planet Fitness. The company has more than 2,900 locations across the United States, Australia, and New Zealand, making it the third-largest restaurant operator in the country, following Starbucks and Chipotle. With a workforce of over 75,000 employees and annual sales of $5 billion, Flynn Group continues to expand its footprint in the food service industry.
In addition to the restaurant relaunch, Wendy’s recently debuted a new menu item—the Salted Caramel Frosty—nationwide on November 12.
