KAUKAUNA – Taco Bell fans in Kaukauna may soon have a convenient new option if a proposed restaurant is approved by the city’s Plan Commission.
The Commission is set to review a proposal on Thursday for a new Taco Bell location at 1800 Crooks Avenue, on the site of the former Family Video store. The proposed restaurant would be just across 18th Street from Dick’s Drive-in.
The plan involves redeveloping the existing site. Developer Pacific Bells has proposed demolishing the old building and constructing a new Taco Bell restaurant.
The new building will cover approximately 2,240 square feet and will be positioned on the northern side of the property, according to the submitted site plan. The design and layout of the building will resemble other recently built Taco Bell locations.
The site will be designed to accommodate up to seven vehicles in the drive-thru queue, with additional parking spaces provided to prevent the line from spilling onto the street.
