Available now through December 16, the BFF Burger will be offered at all 555 Burger King locations and 379 KFC outlets across France. Over the past few days, customers at both chains noticed unusual cross-brand placements—KFC buckets at Burger King, BK cups at KFC, KFC placemats at Burger King, and Burger King wrappers at KFC—creating a sense of intrigue among diners.
The campaign’s “mind-bending” teaser continued with a series of cryptic 6-second TV ads aired on Sunday. In these spots, crew members from both brands were seen dancing together, with no explanation given—just enough to stir curiosity and leave viewers guessing.
Today, the secret was revealed, and the two brands have officially embraced their “best friends” status for the duration of the promotion. The campaign’s fun and surprising spirit is evident in a nationwide advertising push, including Out-Of-Home (OOH) and Digital Out-Of-Home (DOOH) ads, social media posts, and a playful TV commercial. The ad features employees from both brands singing “Why Can’t We Be Friends?” by War, highlighting the unlikely yet joyful union.
