Taco Bell is excited to announce the expansion of its “Feed The Beat” program to Australia. This initiative supports emerging musicians by providing them with meals while they are on tour. Miki Rich, a member of the band Stand Atlantic, expressed gratitude for Taco Bell’s support, saying, “Having their support means the world to us, and we’re grateful for the endless supply of tasty tacos and Crunchwraps fueling us on tour.”
The “Feed The Beat” program not only covers meal costs for artists but also gives them opportunities to feature their music in Taco Bell commercials and gain exposure through the brand’s social media channels. Launched in the United States in 2006, the program made its debut in the UK earlier this year. It has supported over 2,000 artists and bands, including well-known names like Portugal. The Man, Halsey, and Imagine Dragons.
The inaugural group of artists participating in “Feed The Beat” Australia includes Stand Atlantic, Sydney-based hardcore punk band Speed, indie-pop singer Tiffi, and Melbourne trio Blusher. Andrew Howie, Chief Marketing Officer of Taco Bell Australia, stated, “We are incredibly proud to bring Taco Bell’s Feed The Beat program here and support the vibrant local music scene. Australia is home to some of the most innovative and exciting emerging artists, and we’re thrilled to play a part in amplifying their music on a global stage.”
With its success in the US and UK, Taco Bell is committed to spotlighting local talent in Australia. The program connects bands with Taco Bell fans, helping them expand their audiences and create mutually beneficial relationships.
Stand Atlantic will benefit from Taco Bell’s support during their US tour with gift cards and will continue to receive assistance as they launch their presence in Australia. This initiative reflects Taco Bell’s ongoing commitment to supporting musical talent worldwide while fostering connections between artists and fans.
