Chipotle Mexican Grill is set to expand its presence in Metro Detroit with two new restaurant openings. The fast-casual chain, known for its bowls, tacos, and burritos, announced that locations will open in Port Huron and Clinton Township.
The Port Huron restaurant, located at 3962 24th Avenue, will feature a drive-thru lane and is scheduled to open on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Clinton Township location at 24276 Hall Road is expected to open in early December. Both restaurants will operate daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
In addition to these new openings, Chipotle has another location at 40287 S. Groesbeck Highway in Clinton Township. The chain has been active in the area, opening restaurants in Madison Heights in August, Plymouth in July, and Wixom, Monroe, and Canton earlier this year.
Chipotle is also promoting its new Mexican-inspired smoked brisket, available for a limited time. Chris Brandt, Chief Brand Officer, stated, “We are listening to our guests and bringing this fan-favorite menu innovation out of the vault after three years. This premium protein is sure to delight guests looking to taste the difference of brisket prepared the Chipotle way.”
The Port Huron and Clinton Township locations are looking to fill approximately 30 jobs each. Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, Chipotle operates more than 3,200 restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.
