Taco Bell has announced its opening date for the new restaurant in Norwich. The fast-food chain will begin serving customers this week as it completes work on its first location in Norfolk.
Starting at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, diners can place their first orders at Taco Bell. The restaurant will offer a variety of signature items, including burritos, tacos, and nachos, and will be open seven days a week.
Construction to transform the former Blakely store into a Taco Bell began in the summer. For several weeks, posters around the site hinted at an upcoming opening. Plans for this location were first revealed at the end of 2023, generating excitement among local residents.
New employees have been seen entering the site since early November as preparations for the opening ramped up. Taco Bell is an American fast-food chain with approximately 153 locations across the UK.
Founded in California in 1962, the brand has grown to over 7,000 stores worldwide.
The Norwich branch marks Taco Bell’s first establishment in Norfolk, and many locals are eager to try its offerings.
