A popular fast-food chain on Above Bar Street has applied to stay open until 4am every night.
Scoffs (Miss Millies) Ltd has applied for a variation of their Premises Licence for Miss Millie’s on 95 Above Bar Street.
A successful change to their licence would see Miss Millie’s be allowed to serve food until 4am, becoming the only food takeaway option open past 2am on Above Bar.The restaurant arrived in Southampton in September 2022 and originally only stayed open until 10pm, but their current opening times are 11am to 2am every day.
The city centre store is the only Miss Millie’s franchise in Hampshire – cooking fresh chicken in a secret recipe coating created by Colonel Sanders’ grandson.
There are 14 Miss Millie’s stores across the South West and Bristol, including at Weston-Super-Mare, Newquay and Yate.
The Southampton store does not have a food hygiene rating and are awaiting inspection.
