A fast-food restaurant known for its fried chicken, biscuits, and Southern sides is set to open a new location in Livingston Parish. Bojangles will establish its first Baton Rouge area outlet at 28509 LA Highway 43 in Albany, with plans to open in May 2025. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12.
Benjamin Van Cleave, president of Kwik Foods, LLC, expressed excitement about bringing Bojangles to the Baton Rouge market. “Kwik Foods, LLC is honored and eager to bring the Southern hospitality of Bojangles to the Baton Rouge market and surrounding areas,” he said. He highlighted popular menu items like Bo’s Chicken Biscuit and Bo’s Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders.
This new location will be the fifth Bojangles in Louisiana, joining existing restaurants in Ruston, Monroe, West Monroe, and Rayne. Local leaders, including Livingston Parish President Randy Delatte and Albany Mayor Eileen Bates-McCarroll, are expected to attend the groundbreaking ceremony.
