A fast food restaurant known for its fried chicken and Southern sides is set to open a new location in Livingston Parish.
Bojangles will establish its latest outlet at 28509 LA Highway 43 in Albany, with plans to open in May 2025. The groundbreaking ceremony for this new site will take place on Tuesday, November 12, at 3 p.m.
Benjamin Van Cleave, president of Kwik Foods, LLC, expressed excitement about the new venture, stating, “Kwik Foods, LLC is honored and eager to bring the Southern hospitality of Bojangles to the Baton Rouge market and surrounding areas. The Bo’s Chicken Biscuit and Bo’s Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders are coming home to Louisiana!”
This upcoming location will mark the fifth Bojangles restaurant in Louisiana. The existing locations are situated in Ruston, Monroe, West Monroe, and Rayne.
Local leaders from Livingston Parish, including Parish President Randy Delatte and Albany Mayor Eileen Bates-McCarroll, are expected to attend the groundbreaking ceremony.
