Potbelly and Love’s Travel Stops are launching exciting new menu items that are sure to satisfy your cravings.
This year, the fast food industry has seen the rise of the “swicy” trend, reflecting a growing interest in bold and unique flavors. Younger consumers, in particular, are eager to explore new taste experiences.
To meet these changing preferences, both Potbelly and Love’s Travel Stops are enhancing their menus. Potbelly is focusing on customization for its customers, while Love’s aims to cater to the needs of travelers on the go.
Starting November 11, 2024, Potbelly will introduce two new sandwiches: The Cubano and Sweet Heat Pork BBQ. These additions show that Potbelly is listening to its fans who crave bold flavors and customization. Both sandwiches will become permanent fixtures on the menu.
New Sandwich Offerings
The Cubano is a fan favorite that features slow-cooked pulled pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, deli mustard, and hickory-smoked ham. On the other hand, the Sweet Heat BBQ sandwich combines slow-cooked pulled pork with pickles and cheddar cheese, all topped with a new BBQ sauce made from hot peppers. Potbelly encourages customers to indulge by trying both sandwiches.
In addition to these new sandwiches, Potbelly is expanding its selection of sauces. Two new permanent sauces will be added: Sweet Heat BBQ sauce and Hot Pepper Ranch. The Hot Pepper Ranch sauce has been available before as a limited-time offer but will now be a regular menu item. Customers can also enjoy two additional sauces: Red Wine Vinegar and Roasted Garlic Aioli, providing more options for customizing their meals.
Eric Chenel, Potbelly’s Director of Consumer Insights and Innovation, stated that the team aims to elevate the Potbelly experience. With these new sandwiches and sauces, customers can create flavorful meals tailored to their tastes.

Pop’s Beef Hosts Toy Donation Drive
As the holiday season approaches, Pop’s Beef is making it easy for people to give back through its annual Toys for Tots Donation Drive.
This drive began on November 4 and runs until December 13 at all Pop’s Beef locations in Indiana and Illinois.
The goal of the drive is to collect toys for local children in need and surpass last year’s total of 3,000 toys. Frank Radochonski, founder of Pop’s Beef, emphasized that every toy counts toward ensuring no child goes without a gift during the holidays.
In addition to the toy drive, Pop’s Beef has other initiatives this holiday season aimed at supporting military members and the community. On Veterans Day (November 11), Pop’s Beef will offer a free sandwich to all veterans and active military personnel who present their military ID at any location. Furthermore, Pop’s Beef plans to collaborate with the American Red Cross for a blood drive in December to further assist those in need.
These initiatives highlight Pop’s Beef’s commitment to making a positive impact during the holiday season while encouraging community involvement.
