Wendy’s is adding to its lineup of Frosty flavors with a new seasonal offering. Starting November 12, the fast-food chain will launch a Salted Caramel Frosty, just in time for fall.
Described as a “rich, salty caramel perfectly balanced with Wendy’s iconic sweet and creamy Frosty,” the company promises “a spoonful of warm and cozy comfort in every chilly bite.”
The announcement has generated positive buzz among fans. One Instagram user exclaimed, “This flavor is what dreams are made of!” Another commented, “Salted caramel > pumpkin spice.” Many seem eager to try the new flavor, with one saying, “I will eat anything salted caramel!”
However, not all feedback is positive. A vanilla fan expressed frustration, stating, “I’m so tired of them getting rid of Vanilla to substitute these seasonal flavors. Can I just get vanilla and the seasonal flavor?! Chocolate ain’t that good.”
In addition to the new Frosty, Wendy’s will also introduce a Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger featuring roasted mushrooms, bacon, Muenster cheese, and creamy garlic spread on a beef patty. The Taco Salad will make a comeback with a new creamy zesty salsa dressing, fire-roasted corn, crispy tortilla strips, and Wendy’s famous chili.
Wendy’s frequently updates its Frosty flavors. In September, the Vanilla Frosty returned after a summer hiatus, joining the Classic Chocolate Frosty. Earlier this month, the chain also launched a Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, made with Vanilla Frosty and pineapple-mango puree, as part of its Krabby Patty Kollab Meal celebrating the 25th anniversary of “SpongeBob SquarePants.”
This summer, customers enjoyed the Triple Berry Frosty, while the Orange Dreamsicle Frosty debuted in the spring. The Vanilla Frosty returned for winter, and last year, Wendy’s offered the Pumpkin Spice Frosty and Pumpkin Spice Frosty Cream Cold Brew for the fall season. Prior to that, a Strawberry Frosty was available during the summer months.
