Pizza Hut is launching a new Halloween marketing campaign in collaboration with iProspect, a subsidiary of Dentsu Hong Kong. This initiative invites pizza enthusiasts and Halloween fans to join in on the fun.
The campaign encourages participants to engage in interactive activities, such as searching for ghost faces hidden within pizza and melted cheese. This creative approach not only showcases Pizza Hut’s delicious offerings but also allows customers to experience their favorite food from a playful perspective, with surprises awaiting them in every bite.
Running from October 26 to November 1, the campaign will be promoted on social media and through outdoor advertising in high-traffic areas of Central to attract attention and invite passersby to join the Halloween festivities.
In addition to the campaign, Pizza Hut has introduced a special Halloween item: the Blue Zhizi Dot Stick. This fun and festive treat is perfect for Halloween parties, allowing fans to celebrate the holiday with a slightly spooky twist. The name “Blue Zhizi Dot Stick” is a clever pun; “Blue Zhi” refers to blue cheese sauce, while “Zhi Zhu” sounds like “spider” in Cantonese.
To further engage customers, Pizza Hut is hosting a “catch the spider” game on its social media platforms, where participants can win free garlic bread. This new brand experience adds an exciting element to the Halloween season.
Renee Chan, Director of Customer Experience and Marketing at Pizza Hut Hong Kong, stated, “At Pizza Hut, we like to push the boundaries of pizza making in a playful way and get people talking. We want customers to enjoy food in the most innovative way, making every bite an exciting experience.”
Huey Wong, Creative Director of Dentsu Hong Kong, added, “Halloween is all about embracing the unexpected, and we want to turn each pizza into a spooky and joyful canvas. By encouraging customers to discover surprises for themselves, our goal is to transform ordinary food experiences into extraordinary ones.”
As Halloween approaches, Pizza Hut aims to create memorable experiences for its customers while celebrating this festive season with creativity and fun.
