Whataburger, the beloved Texas burger chain, is expanding its presence in Fort Worth with a new location slated to open in 2025. This new restaurant will be situated at 205 E. Bonds Ranch Road, conveniently located near Highway 287.
The $2.6 million project is set to commence on November 20, 2024, and is expected to be completed by March 2025, according to documents from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The new building will cover 2,816 square feet. While the area has limited fast food options, a QuickTrip is located across the freeway, and the nearest existing Whataburger is 3.4 miles away on N Tarrant Parkway.
Whataburger is also known for its seasonal menu items. Currently, the Bacon Blaze Jalapeno Double burger is available until October 31. This burger features two beef patties, jalapeno ranch sauce, smoky bacon, aged cheddar, and jalapeno slices on a bun. Additionally, Whataburger will reintroduce the White Chocolate Peppermint Shake for the 2024 holiday season, starting November 5. This flavor will also be available in hot or iced coffee.
