ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Chick-fil-A has submitted a letter of intent to establish a new restaurant in the CityGate development, which includes areas in Rochester and Brighton.
In the letter to the City of Rochester’s site plan commission, the fast-food chain outlined plans for a quick-service restaurant spanning over 5,000 square feet, complete with a drive-through.
Chick-fil-A intends to lease a 2.6-acre parcel within the development and plans to demolish the existing Monroe County Industrial Waste building. The proposal includes enhancements such as additional parking, lighting, and landscaping. The company aims to create three two-way access driveways for better traffic flow.
Currently, the application is marked as “in progress” on the City’s website. However, Chick-fil-A has indicated its goal to begin construction by spring.
