Wendy’s is set to introduce a new Frosty flavor, which many fans have eagerly anticipated. The new soft serve is expected to replace the limited-edition Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, which was part of a recent SpongeBob-themed meal.
Food blogger Snackolator reports that the current pineapple flavor will be swapped for a fall-inspired Salted Caramel Frosty once the Krabby Patty Kollab meal concludes. Unlike the current Frosty, the Salted Caramel flavor is said to be infused directly into the soft serve, meaning the popular Vanilla Frosty will be temporarily unavailable.
Social media users are optimistic about the change, with many expressing that a well-executed Salted Caramel Frosty would be worth missing other seasonal flavors. Comments such as “This might be worth not getting peppermint this year” and “I hope they nail this!!!” reflect the excitement.
Fans have also shared their love for the new flavor, with one stating, “LETS GOOOOOO i love vanilla but i love this MORE.” Others joked, “Salted caramel > pumpkin spice” and labeled the new flavor as “what dreams are made of.”
Snackolator hinted that the new Frosty could be available at participating Wendy’s locations in November, though an official announcement has yet to be made. Meanwhile, Wendy’s has revealed its Halloween menu, which has also garnered positive reactions from fans.
