The first interior photos of Ipswich’s new Taco Bell have been released, showcasing the restaurant’s design.
An application to transform the former Carphone Warehouse unit at Anglia Retail Park in northern Ipswich was submitted in August 2022. After facing significant delays, the restaurant is set to open on Tuesday, October 22.
The Taco Bell will operate seven days a week from 11 AM to 7 PM and is anticipated to create approximately 70 jobs for local residents. To celebrate the opening, the first 500 customers on launch day will receive a ‘Spin to Win’ token, giving them a chance to win free food and Taco Bell merchandise. Additionally, the first 50 people in line will receive goody bags filled with treats and branded items.
Taco Bell also has plans for expansion in Ipswich, with proposals submitted to Ipswich Borough Council to take over the former Frankie & Benny’s unit on Edith Cook Way in Ravenswood. The future of the neighboring Chiquito unit, which closed at the end of last year, remains uncertain.
