In an exciting prelude to their sold-out concerts, the American band LANY surprised fans by working at a Jollibee branch in the Philippines on October 11.
Dressed in full Jollibee uniforms, band members Paul Klein and Jake Goss enthusiastically took orders and served popular menu items like Chickenjoy and burger steak. They even gave away trays of free drinks and cheeseburgers, much to the delight of the crowd.
Fans packed the restaurant, thrilled to meet the band in such an unexpected setting. One lucky fan received a signed Jollibee employee uniform from drummer Jake Goss as a special keepsake.
Jollibee is a beloved fast-food chain in the Philippines, known for its unique offerings that appeal to both locals and international visitors. Paul Klein expressed his excitement about the experience, saying, “It’s always been a dream for us to come here to Jollibee. Thank you so much to everyone who came here today.”
LANY officially kicked off their “A Beautiful Blur” tour in the Philippines with a sold-out show at the Philippine Arena on October 12. They will perform three additional shows at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino from October 13 to 15.
The band’s popularity continues to grow, especially with hits like “ILYSB,” “Super Far,” and “Thru These Tears.” This surprise event at Jollibee added a memorable touch to their tour experience for both the band and their fans.
