Chick-fil-A is set to open a new restaurant in Wayne County next week, known for its chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, and signature dipping sauce.
Located at 22250 Eureka Rd, just west of Racho Road in Taylor, the new restaurant will open on Thursday, October 17. Local Owner-Operator Anthony Sautter, a Downriver native, will manage the daily operations. The restaurant will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Sautter expressed his excitement about the opportunity, saying, “The Downriver community has always been home to me and my family. It feels surreal to own and operate the first Chick-fil-A in Taylor.” He added that his connections with other Owner-Operators have inspired him to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A is donating $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts. The funds will be shared with Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan and Forgotten Harvest, both dedicated to fighting food insecurity.
This new location follows Chick-fil-A’s recent announcement of plans to open 25 to 30 new restaurants in Michigan over the next few years.
A new restaurant in Roseville opened last month, and the Taylor location will join 14 others in the metro Detroit area, including restaurants in Allen Park, Detroit Metro Airport, and Livonia.
