Wendy’s is collaborating with Nickelodeon’s hit cartoon series “SpongeBob SquarePants” to bring fans a special treat in honor of the show’s 25th anniversary. The fast-food chain is reportedly introducing a limited-time “Krabby Patty Kollab” meal, featuring a Krabby Patty burger and a unique Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty.
The Krabby Patty Burger
The centerpiece of the collaboration is the Krabby Patty burger.
According to leaked internal communications from Wendy’s, the burger will be a premium cheeseburger made with the chain’s signature fresh, never-frozen beef. It will be topped with fresh produce and a secret “Krabby Patty Sauce” to capture the essence of the iconic fictional sandwich from the show.
The Krabby Patty is set to debut on October 8, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of “SpongeBob SquarePants.” The limited-time offering will be available at participating Wendy’s locations in the United States, Canada, and Guam until November 11.
The Pineapple Under The Sea Frosty
Accompanying the Krabby Patty burger is a new Frosty flavor inspired by SpongeBob’s underwater home of Bikini Bottom.
The “Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty” is a unique twist on Wendy’s classic vanilla Frosty, swirled with a pineapple-mango puree for a tropical taste.
“In honor of SpongeBob’s home, this Frosty is made with our signature Vanilla Frosty swirled with Pineapple Mango puree, offering a first-of-its-kind dessert experience for fans of all ages,” the leaked memo states.
Limited-Edition SpongeBob Stickers
To further celebrate the collaboration, each “Krabby Patty Kollab” meal purchased will come with a limited-edition SpongeBob sticker sheet, while supplies last. These stickers featuring the beloved cartoon character will be included in the merchandise kits sent to participating Wendy’s locations.
While Wendy’s and Paramount, Nickelodeon’s parent company, have not officially confirmed the collaboration, the leaked memo suggests that the “Krabby Patty Kollab” is a real upcoming menu item. Fans of both SpongeBob and Wendy’s are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to try the Krabby Patty burger and the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty.
