For the fourth consecutive year, Tim Hortons, in partnership with its restaurant owners across Canada, is excited to announce the return of the Orange Sprinkle Donut fundraising campaign on September 30, aimed at supporting Indigenous organizations.
On this day, all proceeds from the sale of Orange Sprinkle Donuts will be donated to several Indigenous-focused groups, including the Orange Shirt Society, the Indian Residential School Survivors Society, and New Pathways Foundation in Quebec. This year, the campaign is also expanding its support to two additional organizations: the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund and the Ulnooweg Education Centre.
“We’re proud to be launching the Tim Hortons Orange Sprinkle Donut campaign for the fourth consecutive year and to be supporting two new Indigenous organizations,” said Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons. “By adding the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund and the Ulnooweg Education Centre, we can create an even greater impact across the country.”
Launched in 2021 by a group of Indigenous Tim Hortons restaurant owners, the campaign has since raised more than $3.6 million in support of Indigenous organizations.
“Last year, we raised over $1 million through the Orange Sprinkle Donut campaign, and we’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from our guests and Tim Hortons restaurant owners nationwide,” Bagozzi added.
