Subway customers are eagerly awaiting the release of a special dessert just in time for the holidays.
Fans of Subway’s footlong cookie creations are especially excited for the upcoming treat, expected to launch in November.
According to food blogger Markie Devo, the Double Chocolate Peppermint Footlong Cookie will hit U.S. Subway locations starting Nov. 1. The cookie, as shown in a preview image shared on Instagram, features a 12-inch chocolate base topped with peppermint flakes.
Many fans are thrilled, with one Instagram user saying they “can’t wait for the peppermint one ” after enjoying Subway’s earlier footlong cookie offerings. Another agreed, commenting, “Looks good,” while a few others said they “might try” the holiday-themed cookie.
Not all reactions were positive, though. Some Subway customers were less enthusiastic about the peppermint flavor, with one user commenting, “Not a fan of peppermint in desserts.” Another suggested, “Why not a small cookie format for the peppermint one too?”
Along with the new dessert, Subway is set to introduce Ghost Pepper bread and three new sandwiches — Spicy Nacho Chicken, Fiery Meatball, and Spicy Nacho Steak — starting Oct. 1.
