Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced the return of its popular Smoked Brisket at participating restaurants in the U.S. and Canada for a limited time. The Mexican-inspired, tender brisket, made with Responsibly Raised® beef, was a top requested menu item among fans since its initial introduction three years ago.
“We are listening to our guests and bringing this fan-favorite menu innovation out of the vault after three years,” said Chris Brandt, Chief Brand Officer. “This premium protein is sure to delight guests looking to taste the difference of brisket prepared the Chipotle way.”
Chipotle’s culinary team has developed a unique brisket recipe that leverages classic techniques to create rich layers of flavor that pair perfectly with the brand’s fresh ingredients. The brisket is seared on the plancha and seasoned with spices, including smoked serrano chili pepper and chipotle chili pepper. It is then hand-chopped into tender, juicy bites and finished in a savory brisket sauce made with smoky chili peppers. The protein is prepared in small batches throughout the day for maximum freshness.
To celebrate the return of Smoked Brisket, Chipotle is offering a $0 delivery fee on all orders placed through the Chipotle app, Chipotle.com, and Chipotle.ca that include at least one entrée with Smoked Brisket. The offer is valid from September 12 through September 29 in the U.S. and Canada, subject to availability and certain restrictions.
Chipotle’s Vice President of Culinary, Nevielle Panthaky, recommends trying the Smoked Brisket in a Burrito Bowl with white rice, black beans, fresh tomato salsa, and cheese for first-time guests.
