This highly anticipated opening follows rumors that began circulating in 2022 and comes just in time for the football season. The restaurant will be conveniently located near Bain-Schaeffer Buffalo Stadium and Happy State Bank Stadium, making it a popular spot for fans after games.

The new Whataburger will be situated at 100 N 23rd Street. According to staff, this location will save Canyon residents 15 to 20 minutes of travel time, as they previously had to drive to the Hollywood location in Amarillo for late-night snacks.
