Wendy’s, the popular fast-food chain, is reportedly set to launch its own version of the iconic Krabby Patty burger from the Nickelodeon cartoon “SpongeBob SquarePants.” According to a leaked company memo posted on Reddit, the Krabby Patty Meal will be available for purchase starting October 8, coinciding with the show’s 25th anniversary.
The Krabby Patty, described as a “premium cheeseburger featuring Wendy’s fresh, never frozen beef, garnished with fresh vegetables and a secret Krabby Patty sauce,” aims to capture the essence of the legendary fictional sandwich beloved by SpongeBob enthusiasts.
In addition to the Krabby Patty, Wendy’s will also introduce a “Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty,” which combines the chain’s signature Vanilla Frosty with Pineapple Mango puree, offering a unique dessert experience for fans of all ages.
“Starting October 8, get ready to deliver the magic of cultural phenomenon SpongeBob SquarePants! To celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary this year, Wendy’s® will introduce its own version of SpongeBob’s iconic Krabby Patty as part of an exclusive Krabby Patty Kollab with Paramount,” the apparent memo states.
While Wendy’s has not officially confirmed the new menu items, a spokesperson shared with TODAY.com that the company is “continually exploring ways to introduce menu items inspired by our fans’ desires.”
