Nashville is set to welcome a beloved Canadian coffee chain, Tim Hortons. Metro Council member Jeff Gregg confirmed on Friday that a permit application has been filed to open a new Tim Hortons at 2527 Lebanon Pike in Donelson. The site was previously occupied by a Krystal burger chain.
Tim Hortons, renowned for its coffee, donuts, and a variety of food items, is planning to expand further into Middle Tennessee. A local business owner, Naren Patel, who already operates 14 Golden Bear convenience stores in the region, aims to open multiple Tim Hortons locations across the area. The first of these will be in Mount Juliet, and the Donelson location marks the first announcement for Nashville. Patel’s ambitious goal includes establishing 45 Tim Hortons locations, with future sites planned in Lebanon, Gallatin, and Spring Hill.
Tim Hortons’ arrival in Tennessee is part of a broader expansion of fast-food options in the state, which will also see the opening of new outlets such as Raising Cane’s, In-N-Out Burger, and Whataburger.
