ATLANTA, Ga. — Authorities are asking for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Pizza Hut in southwest Atlanta last month.
On July 21, at around 11 a.m., Atlanta police responded to a robbery report at the Pizza Hut located at 2461 Metropolitan Parkway SW, in the Perkerson neighborhood.
According to police, the 911 caller reported that an unknown man entered the restaurant, brandished a handgun, and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect then stole approximately $90 before leaving the scene.
The witness described the suspect as a light-skinned male dressed in a black jacket, black pants, black shoes, and a black ski mask. Surveillance video released by the police shows the suspect walking down a nearby sidewalk.
Tipsters are not required to provide their names or any personal details to be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
