Taco Bell” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked”>Taco Bell has unveiled plans for “The Cantinas,” a novel concept described as an “early retirement community” aimed at celebrating a leisurely lifestyle. Located in San Diego, California, The Cantinas promises to be a distinctive weekend retreat open to people of all ages.
Scheduled to open its doors on August 17-18, The Cantinas will offer guests a chance to enjoy activities such as early morning tee times, afternoon aerobics, pickleball matches, and, of course, ample servings of Taco Bell. According to the brand, this initiative aims to create a “community oasis” that embodies the spirit of living más in diverse ways.
Taylor Montgomery, Taco Bell’s U.S. Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized the inclusivity of The Cantinas, stating, “There’s a misconception that retirement is only for later years. We believe everyone should enjoy life to the fullest, regardless of age.”
The community is designed as a place where generations can come together and embrace their desired lifestyles.
To participate in The Cantinas, interested individuals must be members of Taco Bell’s rewards program. Options include Weekend Memberships with overnight stays and Day Passes offering full access to amenities and activities. Note that participation is restricted to Taco Bell enthusiasts aged 21 and over.
Memberships go on sale exclusively to rewards members on July 16 at 12 p.m. ET (9 a.m. PT) through the Taco Bell app.
Weekend Memberships, priced at $150, include accommodations for two and access to all amenities. Day Passes, priced at $50 per day, grant access from morning until evening on Saturday and from early morning until evening on Sunday.
