Popeyes, famous for its Louisiana chicken, is set to open its first restaurant in Gloucestershire this summer. This move is part of the company’s plan to expand its presence in the UK, aiming to have over 60 restaurants by December 2024.
The new Popeyes restaurant will be located at St Oswalds Retail Park, making it the first Popeyes venue in Gloucestershire.
Currently, the closest Popeyes restaurants are in Cardiff and Birmingham.
Aside from its renowned fresh marinated chicken, which comes in classic and spicy options, the new restaurant will also offer breakfast items, fast-food favorites, and shakes. Some of the new menu items include the Big Brekkie Wrap and Buffalo Ranch Sandwich.
Popeyes is owned by Restaurant Brands International (RBI), which also owns Burger King” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked”>Burger King and Tim Hortons. Since opening its first UK location in 2021, Popeyes has expanded to more than 38 restaurants nationwide. The brand has expressed its ambitious plans to continue spreading joy across the country in the coming years.
