A Melbourne man found himself in trouble after driving the wrong way through a kfc” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener” title=”KFC” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked”>KFC drive-through and getting his car stuck on the curb.
Police were called to the Doncaster KFC on Doncaster Rd at around 9 pm on June 13. Staff noticed the man, who was driving in the wrong direction.
The 42-year-old man from Templestowe Lower was driving a Honda sedan. His car got stuck on the drive-through curb. Police stopped him and he allegedly tested positive for alcohol. “Unlike a certain 11 secret herbs and spices, drinking and driving are an original recipe for disaster,” Victoria Police stated.
Police also claim the man was unlicensed and refused to take a formal breath test.
The man’s car was impounded for 30 days, costing him $913.70, which is equivalent to 115 Zinger burgers.
He is expected to be charged with traffic offences, according to Victoria Police.
