Wendy’s offers a choice of crispy or spicy nuggets, with sauces like Honey BBQ, Garlic Parm, Buffalo, and Spicy Ghost Pepper. Customers can also add a side of blue cheese or ranch dressing.
KFC, on the other hand, selected its current Saucy Nuggets flavors based on customer feedback. The chain kept two popular choices, Korean BBQ and Honey Sriracha, and added a Honey BBQ option.
For $5.99, KFC offers a 10-piece Saucy Nuggets order. Customers can also get a combo with fries and a drink.
KFC also has a variety of other deals this summer, including a $10 Tuesday deal with an eight-piece bucket of drums and thighs, free delivery every Sunday, and a $4.99 meal that includes two pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and a biscuit. They also have a $20 Family Meal with six pieces of chicken, four sides, and four biscuits.
