Singapore will see an increase in ticket availability for Chick-fil-A’s upcoming pop-up event in late June, as announced by the American fast-food giant on June 5.
In a recent Instagram update, Chick-fil-A shared its plan to release additional tickets for the previously sold-out event on June 6 at noon.
Expressing gratitude to Singapore for its enthusiasm, Chick-fil-A mentioned its efforts to accommodate more guests, saying, “Thank you Singapore for the love. We’re waffly happy to share that we’ve made arrangements to serve more guests.”
The event is scheduled to run at Esplanade Mall from June 26 to 28, with two sessions daily from 11 am to 2 pm and 3 to 7 pm. This marks Chick-fil-A’s debut appearance in Asia.
The brand is renowned for its Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, featuring breaded, boneless chicken breast cooked in peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttery bun with two dill pickle chips.
On June 3 at noon, Chick-fil-A initially released 600 tickets for the event, all of which were swiftly claimed by 1.27 pm.
Attendees reserved their seats by making a $10 donation to ComChest, which includes a meal consisting of an Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, Waffle Potato Fries, and a drink.
The pop-up event is a collaborative effort with local philanthropic organization Community Chest (ComChest), with organizers revealing that they raised $12,000 for ComChest on June 3 alone.
Chick-fil-A’s pop-up follows a recent successful event by US burger chain In-N-Out Burger on May 31, which drew substantial crowds with long queues forming hours before the event commenced at 9 am. All 500 wristbands, each allowing the purchase of a burger either solo or as part of a set meal, were distributed by 10 am.
