The Jollibee Group, led by Bilyonaryo Tony Tan Caktiong, has announced the discontinuation of the Happyplus rewards card, which is used across all Jollibee Group brands.
According to a statement from the Jollibee Group, the accumulation of reward points will end on July 31, 2024. However, cardholders can still redeem freebies and discounts until September 30, 2024.
“We would like to inform our members that the Happyplus program will sunset this year. We hope we brought you closer to your favorite brands and we are grateful for the never-ending support you have shown us for the past years,” the company stated.
The Happyplus card is known by various names, such as Joy Rewards Card, Overload Rewards Card, Chow Card, Red Ribbon Rewards Card, and Mang Inasal Card, depending on the store where it was acquired.
It was promoted as the Philippines’ first cashless payments card that earned reward points.
