PITTSBURGH — In keeping with its annual tradition, a local pizza restaurant spread holiday cheer by offering free pizzas on Easter.
Pizza Parma handed out large pizzas at both its Liberty Avenue and Shadyside locations on Sunday.
As a family-owned business, the restaurant emphasized the importance of ensuring no one goes hungry during the holiday season.
“It feels great to give back to the community and see people appreciate the gesture. We’re happy to offer something to those in need,” said Head Manager April Flack.
Pizza Parma reported giving away about 200 free pizzas at its Liberty Avenue location alone.
This pizza giveaway is part of the restaurant’s commitment to helping the community, with similar events held on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
