As fall approaches, Wendy’s is adding a new flavor to its beloved Frosty lineup, making the cozy season even sweeter. The fast-food chain is set to release a Salted Caramel Frosty, following the end of the Spongebob Squarepants-themed Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, which is expected to be phased out by November.
Fans of the Frosty are eagerly awaiting the new flavor, with many already excited about the shift from the traditional pumpkin spice. One food news account, @snackolator on Instagram, shared the announcement, with users commenting their enthusiasm for the upcoming treat. “It’s a great fall flavor and, in my opinion, better than pumpkin spice!” one commenter noted.
Even though the Salted Caramel Frosty is still a few days away, some Instagram users are already praising it. “This flavor is what dreams are made of,” one person shared, showing how much they’re looking forward to the new treat.
However, there is some disappointment from fans of the classic Vanilla Frosty. When the Salted Caramel flavor makes its debut, the Vanilla Frosty is expected to be temporarily shelved, leaving some customers frustrated. “I’m so tired of them getting rid of vanilla to make room for seasonal flavors. Can I just have both vanilla and the seasonal one?” one user wrote, expressing their desire for more options.
While there is plenty of excitement surrounding the new Salted Caramel Frosty, some Wendy’s fans are feeling left out, especially since international Frosty flavors are not yet available in the U.S. @snackolator also shared several international Frosty varieties, including Chocolate Covered Pretzel, White Chocolate Strawberry, and Mango Tajin, which many American fans are eager to try.
With the new Salted Caramel Frosty set to join the menu soon, Wendy’s is sure to continue to delight its customers, though some may be hoping for even more flavor options in the future.
