Popeyes is following in Chick-fil-A‘s footsteps by selling its popular sauces in bottles for the first time. This move comes after Chick-fil-A introduced its own bottled versions of their famous sauce, which was previously only available in restaurants.
Popeyes’ sauces, which include the beloved Blackened Ranch and Sweet Heat, will be available in 18-ounce bottles starting March 15. Fans of the brand can purchase the sauces at major retailers like Albertsons, Kroger, Walmart, Food Lion, and Amazon.
The Blackened Ranch sauce combines blackened seasoning with creamy buttermilk ranch, while the Sweet Heat sauce is a blend of sweet honey and Aleppo pepper hot sauce. These two sauces are expected to be a hit with Popeyes fans across the country.
In addition to the new sauces, Popeyes is also introducing new kitchen technology aimed at reducing wait times for customers. The fast food chain is rolling out auto batter-makers and other equipment as part of their “Easy to Run” initiative. This move is part of a larger effort to improve operational efficiency and support the company’s growth.
Patrick Doyle, Executive Chairman of RBI, stated, “At the end of the day, it’s franchisee profitability that fuels our ability to hit our growth targets.” The new technology has already been tested at 200 Popeyes locations over the past 18 months.
Locations where the program is further along, such as in Houston and Orlando, have already shown noticeable performance improvements.
This combination of new products and technology is expected to help Popeyes continue to expand and meet growing customer demand.
