Content creator @snackolator broke the news on Instagram and TikTok, igniting excitement among fans eager to sample one of the five new drinks from the beloved fast-food chain.
“KFC just revolutionized the fountain drink game by introducing Blackberry flavor options!” snackolator exclaimed on Instagram, immediately capturing attention.
According to Snackolator, KFC’s release of the Chizza—a fusion of pizza and fried chicken—coincided with the return of their highly sought-after Blackberry Lemonade. But the innovation didn’t stop there. KFC also unveiled the option to infuse their blackberry syrup into a variety of beverages, including the Blackberry Starry, Blackberry Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning, Blackberry Pepsi, and Blackberry Iced Tea.
The Blackberry Starry combines KFC’s blackberry syrup with Starry soda, a lemon-lime soft drink introduced by PepsiCo in January 2023. Meanwhile, the Blackberry Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning marries the syrup with Mountain Dew’s sweet peach and honey-infused flavor profile.
As for the Blackberry Pepsi and Blackberry Iced Tea, both feature KFC’s signature blackberry syrup blended with classic Pepsi and sweet iced tea, akin to Sonic Drive-Thru’s flavored drink offerings.
