Chick-fil-A is bringing back a fan-favorite menu item, the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich, starting March 17. In addition, the fast-food chain is launching a new lineup of refreshing pineapple dragonfruit beverages, the company announced in a press release.
Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich Returns
The Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich will be available with three filet options, allowing customers to personalize their meal. Guests can choose from the classic grilled filet, the original, or the spicy version. The sandwich features juicy chicken, crispy bacon coated in a brown sugar and black pepper blend, Colby Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, and smoky BBQ sauce, all served on a toasted bun.
Introducing Pineapple Dragonfruit Beverages
Chick-fil-A is also rolling out a new selection of tropical-inspired beverages, infused with pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.
The lineup includes:
Pineapple Dragonfruit Frosted Lemonade – A creamy blend of Chick-fil-A Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) and the signature Icedream dessert, mixed with natural pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.
Pineapple Dragonfruit Lemonade – A fruity twist on the classic Chick-fil-A Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade), featuring pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.
Pineapple Dragonfruit Iced Tea – A combination of freshly brewed tea and natural pineapple and dragonfruit flavors for a refreshing taste.
Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy – A fusion of Chick-fil-A’s Sunjoy beverage (a mix of Lemonade and freshly brewed sweetened iced tea) with tropical pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.
A Taste of Summer in Every Sip
“As warmer weather approaches, our guests are craving flavors that remind them of longer, brighter days spent with family and friends,” said Allison Duncan, Chick-fil-A’s director of menu and packaging. “We’re thrilled to bring back the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich with more customization options and to introduce our new Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages, which provide a sweet and refreshing contrast to the smoky BBQ flavors.”
The returning sandwich and new beverages will be available for a limited time at participating Chick-fil-A locations nationwide.
