Burger King is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a special offer for customers. On March 17, the fast food chain will give away a free order of onion rings, of any size, with a purchase of $1 or more. This announcement, made on March 11, comes after the brand’s weeklong Daylight Savings Time breakfast promotion.
In addition to the St. Patrick’s Day offer, Burger King is also running its Combo Combinations promotion, available until April 11. This deal allows customers to upgrade their fries to Chicken Fries, Mozzarella Fries, or Churro Fries for free.
To claim the St. Patrick’s Day onion ring deal, customers must download the BK app or visit bk.com to create a Royal Perks account. Before placing an order, customers should activate the offer in the “offers” tab. Only one offer can be redeemed per account, and it is not valid for delivery orders.
This offer comes after a week of breakfast promotions to help customers cope with the loss of an hour due to Daylight Saving Time. On March 7, Burger King launched a series of daily breakfast deals, including a free Croissan’wich on Sunday, March 9, and a four-piece order of Churro Fries on Monday. Other daily deals included a medium iced coffee on Tuesday, five-piece French toast sticks on Wednesday, and a free large hash brown on Thursday, all with a $1 purchase.
The week of freebies continues with a Pi Day offer on Friday, March 14. Customers can get a free Hershey’s pie with a $3.14 purchase. The promotion wraps up on Saturday with a free sausage biscuit, also with a $1 purchase.
