Taco Bell continues to surprise its fans with creative and exciting menu innovations. Much like other brands that frequently release new flavors, Taco Bell is always experimenting with fresh ideas. While some of these items are well-known, others go through a rigorous testing process before making it onto the menu.
On February 27, Taco Bell announced the nationwide release of several new items, including the Steak & Queso Crunchwrap Sliders, which were first tested in Ohio in 2024, along with the Milk Bar Birthday Cake Churros and Caliente Cantina Chicken menu. But the excitement doesn’t end there — the brand also introduced a first-of-its-kind burrito.
Testing the New Crispy Chicken Bacon Club Burrito
One of the new items Taco Bell is currently testing is the Crispy Chicken Bacon Club Burrito. This limited-time offering draws inspiration from a classic chicken bacon ranch sandwich and is packed with crispy chicken strips, cheddar cheese, lettuce, avocado ranch sauce, and bacon, all wrapped in a grilled tortilla. The chicken strips used in the burrito are similar to Taco Bell’s popular chicken nuggets, which debuted in December 2024.
In addition to the club burrito, Taco Bell is also testing other crispy chicken options, including Crispy Chicken Tacos and Crispy Chicken Burritos. These items feature the same crispy chicken strips and are topped with lettuce, cabbage, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, and your choice of avocado ranch or spicy Ranchero sauces.
For those who prefer a simpler option, the Crispy Chicken Strips are available à la carte, served with a side of spicy ranch dipping sauce.
