Croatian fast food chain Koykan is expanding its reach into the Czech Republic, bringing its diverse menu to Prague. The brand, known for its fresh and globally inspired street food, will open its first two locations in Prague at the Máj and Centrum Černý Most shopping centers in 2025.
Expansion Plans
Koykan is rapidly growing across Europe, with plans to establish more than 25 company-owned restaurants by the end of 2027. Besides the Czech Republic, new branches are set to open in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, and Slovakia. This strategic expansion highlights Koykan’s commitment to strengthening its position in the European fast-casual dining market.
Menu Offerings
Koykan’s menu goes beyond traditional fast food, offering a variety of options including burgers, burritos, bowls, wraps, gyros, falafel, and curry. Customers can also enjoy chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks, and a dedicated breakfast menu. This diverse range caters to different tastes and dietary preferences.
Hiring in Prague
To support its expansion, Koykan has begun hiring staff in Prague. The company is seeking “ambitious, responsible, and dynamic individuals” to join its team. Job listings on employment websites offer monthly salaries between 30,000 and 35,000 CZK for full-time positions, providing attractive opportunities for those interested in the hospitality sector.
