Domino’s Pizza China, under its master franchise DPC Dash, has achieved a significant milestone with the opening of 14 new locations across 13 cities during the 2024 holiday season. This expansion aligns with the company’s “Go Deeper, Go Broader” strategy, aimed at increasing its presence and offering consumers more value for their money.
The new stores have been launched in cities including Shenyang, Chongqing, and Zhengzhou, further strengthening Domino’s footprint in China. As of January 5, 2025, DPC Dash operates in 46 cities across mainland China.
Aileen Wang, CEO of DPC Dash, described the expansion as a crucial step in the company’s development. “Entering 13 new cities is an important milestone for us,” she said. “We’re thrilled to bring Domino’s unique dining experience to these areas during the festive season, and we remain committed to putting our customers first.”
Wang emphasized the company’s focus on continuous improvement, stating that DPC Dash would continue optimizing its products and services. “With our high-quality offerings and a dedicated team, we are confident that we will grow alongside our consumers, sharing the joy of great food,” she added.
The new stores have attracted crowds eager to enjoy Domino’s offerings, particularly during the busy holiday period. While the locations are set to provide a better dining experience, they are not yet offering delivery services due to high demand for in-store dining.
DPC Dash’s expansion strategy has been rapid. Since 2017, the company has increased its store count from around 100 to over 1,000, with plans to add between 300 and 350 new locations annually in 2025 and 2026. This growth aims to solidify the brand’s position in the competitive Chinese market and cater to changing consumer preferences.
The company’s 4D strategy—focused on Development, Delicious pizza at value, Delivery, and Digital—has been key to its success, ensuring consistent quality while driving growth. In 2024, DPC Dash reached another milestone by opening its 900th store in June and its 1,000th store in November, in Chengdu, Sichuan province.
Domino’s continued expansion in China reflects its commitment to meeting rising consumer demand and providing more accessible dining options across the country.
