Starbucks is rolling out a fresh winter menu this Friday, featuring a new offering: the Cortado. The limited-edition drinks and a new staple are sure to attract coffee lovers, with the Cortado taking center stage.
For the first time, Starbucks will offer Cortados, a coffee drink known for its strong flavor despite its small size. Typically consisting of equal parts steamed milk and espresso, Starbucks’ version will be served in an eight-ounce cup. This new drink joins the brand’s signature selection, alongside the Cafe Latte and Cappuccino.
What’s Inside Starbucks’ New Cortado?
Starbucks’ Cortado will be made with three ristretto shots of Blonde Espresso, a smaller, more concentrated type of espresso shot. Steamed milk is added to create the rich, balanced flavor. The drink will only be available hot.
Another variation, the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Cortado, adds a twist by including steamed oat milk, brown sugar syrup, and a dash of cinnamon for extra warmth and sweetness. This drink, too, will be served hot in the same eight-ounce cup.
Other New Additions to the Winter Menu
Pistachio Latte: A cozy combination of espresso, steamed milk, pistachio flavoring, and a brown butter topping. Available hot, iced, or blended as a Frappuccino.
Pistachio Cream Cold Brew: Cold brew coffee combined with vanilla syrup, pistachio cream cold foam, and brown butter sprinkles for a festive, creamy touch.
Vegan Spicy Falafel Pocket: A hearty and flavorful option for plant-based eaters, this pocket is filled with smashed falafel, hummus, roasted red bell peppers, pickled onions, and spicy herb sauce, all wrapped in toasted flatbread.
Vanilla Bean Custard Danish: A pastry treat with smooth vanilla bean custard inside delicate Danish dough.
Single-Origin Ethiopia: A Blonde Roast coffee featuring ginger blossom aromas and flavors of tangerine, lemon balm, and sweet dates. This coffee is available as a whole bean or as a light roast drip coffee.
New Seasonal Drinkware
Alongside the new beverages, Starbucks is launching a seasonal collection of drinkware, featuring soft pinks, cool blues, and vibrant greens. The collection includes tumblers, cold cups, mugs, and water bottles, available in a variety of sizes. Availability may vary by store.
