Burger King, in partnership with Carrols Restaurant Group, recently celebrated the reopening of its Freedom Way location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The reopening marks a key milestone in the brand’s “Reclaim the Flame” strategy, which was first announced in 2022. This strategy aims to revitalize the restaurant experience with modernized locations and improved service.
The newly renovated 165 Freedom Way Burger King in Jacksonville offers customers a refreshed atmosphere, enhanced dining options, and modern features designed to elevate their experience. These updates include a redesigned interior, a digital order pickup area, digital ordering kiosks, and a revamped exterior.
Carrols Restaurant Group, the largest U.S. operator of Burger King restaurants, was behind the renovations. The company operates over 1,000 Burger King locations across 23 states, with 154 of those in North Carolina.
Don McIntyre, Carrols’ division vice president, expressed excitement about the reopening: “We are thrilled to reopen our Burger King restaurant to the Jacksonville community. We can’t wait for our guests to experience the enhanced atmosphere and create new memories for years to come.”
