McDonald’s Singapore is kicking off the festivities for Chinese New Year with a fresh wave of seasonal menu items and exciting collaborations. Starting December 26, 2024, the fast food giant will offer a special menu, including the return of the iconic Prosperity Burgers and a new addition to the lineup: the Fortune Prosperity Burger. Alongside the food, McDonald’s has partnered again with Sanrio, bringing back fan-favorite characters Cinnamoroll and My Melody for a new collection of limited-edition merchandise.
The Prosperity Burgers, a staple of McDonald’s Chinese New Year offerings for the past 20 years, are making their annual return. Fans can once again enjoy the Prosperity Beef Burger and Prosperity Chicken Burger, available in both single and double patty options, topped with black pepper sauce and grilled onions. This year, McDonald’s is adding a new twist with the Fortune Prosperity Burger, which features a perfectly cooked egg for an extra boost of flavor and luck in the New Year.
In addition to the burgers, McDonald’s is also bringing back popular sides, including the tangy Pineapple Pie and the fan-favorite Prosperity Twister Fries. A new addition to the festive menu is the Lohei Treasure Box, a fun, shareable selection of McDonald’s favorites, including crispy chicken nuggets and McWings, perfect for celebrating the tradition of Lohei.
For dessert, McDonald’s is introducing a new pink Strawberry Cone. This creamy, strawberry-flavored soft serve is available in sundae and Oreo McFlurry variations, offering a sweet treat to finish off the meal.
But that’s not all. Starting January 2, 2025, at 11 a.m., Sanrio fans will be able to collect free, limited-edition red packets featuring Cinnamoroll and My Melody with the purchase of a Prosperity Feast Meal. The set includes six beautifully designed red packets, adding a touch of festive charm to the occasion.
In addition, from January 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., customers will receive free Sanrio-themed Snap cards with any meal purchase (excluding Happy Meals). These collectible cards also feature Cinnamoroll and My Melody designs, perfect for fans of the adorable characters.
All of the Sanrio merchandise, including the red packets and Snap cards, will be available in-store, at McDonald’s Drive-Thrus, and via the McDonald’s app and delivery services like McDelivery, Deliveroo, foodpanda, and GrabFood.
Mark your calendars for these special offerings, as McDonald’s Singapore welcomes the Year of the Dragon with tasty treats and delightful merchandise for fans of all ages.
