McDonald’s has announced the return of its popular McGriddles sandwich, starting December 17. The breakfast item, known for its maple-flavored hotcakes, is available once again in Hong Kong for as low as HK$35.
The McGriddles, which became a hit when it was first introduced in Hong Kong in July, was initially welcomed by local fans after gaining fame as a must-try item in Japan. However, it was removed from the menu in late September. During its initial run in Hong Kong, McDonald’s sold over one million McGriddles within the first three days of its release.
The sandwich consists of grilled sausage and cheese, all served between fluffy hotcakes that are infused with maple syrup.
For those who prefer a heartier option, a Sausage N’ Egg version is also available.
