Taco Bell has entered the growing trend of beverage-centric fast food concepts with the launch of its first-ever Live Más Café in Chula Vista, California. This new initiative comes nearly a year after McDonald’s made waves in the industry with the debut of CosMc’s, a café dedicated to serving drinks of all kinds.
The Live Más Café opened its doors on December 9, offering customers a unique twist on Taco Bell’s traditional menu.
While tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos remain available, the emphasis is clearly on drinks. The café features popular items like the Chiller and Agua Refresca, which gained popularity in the past year, along with a variety of coffee drinks for those in need of a morning boost.
Notable offerings include the Caramel Cafe Churro Chiller, Mexican Mocha Iced Coffee, Cinnabon Caramel Iced Coffee, Strawberry Lime Refresca Freeze, and Vanilla Crema Iced Coffee, giving customers a wide range of refreshing and indulgent options.
Taco Bell’s president, Scott Mezvinsky, shared excitement over the new concept, saying, “We’re always looking for new ways to elevate the Taco Bell experience, and the Live Más Café is the perfect example of that. This innovative pilot concept is all about expanding the boundaries of what Taco Bell can be, creating a dynamic space where guests can experience our bold flavors in new and exciting ways.”
The Live Más Café will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. While this location marks the first of its kind, it remains to be seen how quickly Taco Bell will expand the concept across the United States.
