Subotica, Serbia, December 4 (SeeNews) – McDonald’s has expanded its presence in Serbia with the opening of a new restaurant in the northern city of Subotica. The restaurant, which represents a €1.5 million ($1.6 million) investment, is the 36th McDonald’s location in the country, according to Andjelka Djuric, the head of McDonald’s Serbian operations.
Located in the Stop Ship retail park, the new restaurant features 102 indoor seats and an additional 82 seats in its outdoor garden. Customers also have the option to use the Drive-In service, allowing them to enjoy their meals without leaving their cars.
The first McDonald’s in Serbia opened in Belgrade in March 1988, marking the fast-food giant’s first restaurant in Central and Southeastern Europe.
