VALLEY, Ala. (WTVM) – The city of Valley is set to open its first Chick-fil-A restaurant this week. The new location, situated at 3215 20th Ave, will begin serving customers on Thursday.
The restaurant will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, offering dine-in, carry-out, and drive-thru services. Families can enjoy a playground area designed for children.
This Chick-fil-A is locally owned by Cole Flanders, who has nearly eight years of experience with the brand. The restaurant plans to hire over 100 employees for both full-time and part-time positions, with Flanders managing daily operations. “At Chick-fil-A Valley, we want to create more than just a dining experience—we want to be a place where the community can come together and every interaction feels meaningful,” Flanders stated. He expressed his excitement about serving the Valley community and building a team that focuses on quality service.
To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America. This contribution will support local partners in the greater Columbus area to help combat hunger.
Additionally, the new restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program. This initiative aims to redirect surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks, and other nonprofits in need.
Chick-fil-A Valley also plans to honor 100 local heroes who have made a positive impact in the community by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrees for a year.
This opening marks an important addition to Valley’s dining options and reflects Chick-fil-A’s commitment to community engagement and support.
