DUBLIN, Ohio — Wendy’s has announced the launch of a new Frosty flavor: the Salted Caramel Frosty. This seasonal treat will be available nationwide starting November 12. The Salted Caramel Frosty joins previous flavors like Strawberry, Pumpkin Spice, Peppermint, Vanilla, Orange Dreamsicle, Triple Berry, and Pineapple.
The new Frosty is described as having “rich, salty caramel” blended with Wendy’s signature creamy texture. According to the company, this flavor offers “a spoonful of warm and cozy comfort in every chilly bite.” The Salted Caramel Frosty will replace the Vanilla Frosty on menus for a limited time and will be available alongside the classic Chocolate Frosty.
In addition to the new Frosty, Wendy’s is also introducing two other fall menu items: the Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger and an updated Taco Salad. The Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger features roasted mushrooms, crispy bacon, Muenster cheese, and a creamy garlic spread on a beef patty. The updated Taco Salad includes a creamy salsa dressing, fire-roasted corn, tortilla strips, and Wendy’s famous chili.
John Li, Wendy’s Vice President of Culinary Innovation, stated that the fall menu items are designed to bring comfort and joy to customers as temperatures drop. “From the sweetness of Salted Caramel to the savory richness of our Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger and zesty Taco Salad, we are launching new items with depth and variety for every fan,” he said.
This year has seen a variety of seasonal Frosty flavors at Wendy’s. The Vanilla Frosty returned in January, followed by the Orange Dreamsicle in March, Triple Berry in June, and the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty in October. Last year also featured popular flavors like Strawberry and Pumpkin Spice.
Customers can enjoy these new offerings at their local Wendy’s or through the Wendy’s mobile app starting November 12.
