Danbury, CT – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Esports has announced that Chipotle Mexican Grill will provide complimentary meals as prizes for the winners of the Spring 2025 season.
Dan Coonan, Commissioner and CEO of ECAC, expressed excitement about the partnership. “We are thrilled that the growth and momentum of ECAC Esports has attracted the attention of a respected Fortune 500 company like Chipotle,” he said. “We are proud to be considered a worthy partner. Johnson Scoggins, Director of ECAC Esports, also shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration. “We are excited to kick off this partnership with Chipotle, a brand that shares our commitment to fueling the passion and energy of our student-athletes,” he stated.
“Together, we’re enhancing the collegiate esports experience and providing our teams with something to savor both in and out of competition.”
The Chipotle prize will be available exclusively to ECAC Esports members and will be awarded to top-performing divisions.
Each member of the starting roster will receive ten complimentary meals for one season. To redeem the meals, participants must download the Chipotle app and create a Chipotle Rewards account, which is free to set up.
This collaboration underscores Chipotle’s growing involvement in the esports community, further enriching the competitive landscape for student-athletes in collegiate esports.
